My house hasn’t got a garage so I have to park outside. Is that a problem?

Outdoors is fine. We work outdoors and in all weather conditions, from a hot summer’s day to a freezing winter morning, we can still perform the service or repair.

Will a logbook service performed by a independent mechanic breach my manufacturer’s warranty?

Not at all. The ACCC deemed in a court of law that a qualified mechanic can carry out logbook servicing if they use genuine parts, which we do. At PK’s Mobile Mechanical, we’ll service your car to the manufacturer’s requirements and stamp your logbook. So rest assured, your manufacturer’s warranty won’t be affected.

How often do timing belts need to be replaced?

Every model is different and each have different lifespans. An Astra, for example, needs a new timing belt every 60,000 km, while a Subaru Forester is every 150,000 km. Give us a call and we can tell you when yours is due to avoid costly engine repairs.
